5, to stop chalking hopscotch 'graffiti' on the street. The incident was logged as alleged criminal damage. (London Evening Standard)

When I was in the village this morning the very attractive brick block paving had been completely vandalised by council contractors leaving spray can messages like "water main don't dig" ........."replace kerb stones 3m"

Funny old world eh?

Graffit? Oh isn' this jsut ridiculous!

I need some work done on my roof. I live in a bungalow. The builders all want to put scaffolding up. £300 for scaffolding, £50 for the repair itself!! And all for working on the roof of a bungalow.

Yeah and pigs can fly. I done it myself in the end after a roofer was very helpful and talked me through what I need to do. The job took me just 40 minutes. And the cheapest price was £350, the highest was £700 "plus VAT mate of course."
