Quite a while ago I saw a film on Saturday night when they used to put on strange old horror films. It was probably 60's, black and white, I'm trying to discover the title. The film involved a chap who was thoughout the film deemed a bit of a crackpot as he was telling everyone that at a certain time a giant demon would attack the person who happenned to be in possession of some ancient document, he had a special name for it. Anyway as the film went on and several deaths later people started to believe him and when he passed the document to the hero of the film who had up to now been a sceptic, he was finally beleived. The hero of course manages to pass the document to the, alleged crackpot just before the arrival of the demon! Strange Saturday stuff I know, anyone any idea of the film title?

Thanks, Chrissy Boy, that's the one!
While we're here trivia fans, Kate Bush sampled the dialog for the intro to her 'Hounds Of Love' song - "It's in the trees ... it's coming!" is lifted from this excellent film.
Also, in the mid sixties, there was a British TV Series called ''Tales of Mystery and Imagination,, One of the hour long stories, followed almost the same  plot, the episode was called ''Casting the Runes''
