How's the Greyhound Adoption process coming along?

I've just seen a 3-legged greyhound go past the window, and that's what made me think about asking...

Hiya hun!
..it's going slower than a 3-legged greyhound. I had a call 3 weeks ago that they had a potential girl for me. She needed some dental work-and had to be cat-tested again.
Have heard nothing since...so am calling the re-homing officer later.

I WANT my dog!!!!!

Aww... hopefully you'll get her soon. I really felt for the one I saw earlier, missing a leg and all, but she looked happy enough strolling down the lane with her (or his) scruffy companion in tow.

I still can't get those greyhound images you posted on bfm out of my sight. :-(
