Have you ever exchanged texts with a stranger before realising that you'd got the wrong number?

lmao... I've just been texting someone, thinking it was someone else. We exchanged pleasantries such as...

"What are you up to this evening?"

"No much, you?"

"Just having a drink and messing about on the comp."

"Yeah me too."

"You having a drink?"

"No, not tonight. You?"

"Yep, just having a G&T."

"Oh great. Who are you btw..?"

"Oh fcuk."

Oh dear... I should really learn to put number into my phone.

Can't say I have!!
No but I have had a phone conversation with someone who thought I was a girl she knew who had the same name as me and lived close by (used to cause lots of confusion) and I thought she was a woman I used to work with. The chat went on for a good 5 minutes before one of us realised :)
i did when someone was messing around on my phonebook changeing numbers around lol
I find it's normally when you look down and realise that his hair is the wrong colour !!

Karen... I went to school with a girl who had the exact same name as me and the same birthday. It caused no end of confusion...

OH.... was that you!!!
A few years ago I received a *very* explicit text from an ex girlfriend. It transpired that her latest boyfriend was also called Mark... :-)

Did you mind receiving the text, Mark? ;-)
Not at all Jayne, it's because the picture is running away - it must be subliminal :)
I didn't mind receiving it per se, as such, though I was a little surprised. Luckily my then wife thought it was hilarious...

What was life like in Baltimore then, Mark?

I've always dreamed about moving to the US someday.
> What was life like in Baltimore then, Mark?

It was horrible. I really don't like America at all, almost entirely due to the total insularity of the population... Generally speaking, Americans have next to no knowledge of anything outside their own country because they have since pre-school been brainwashed into believing that they have no need to because they live in the greatest country in the world...

A bit like the North Koreans then....
I wouldn't know, having never been there...
Karen ...

I've swapped it for my "not running away nay more" pic ...

Refresh your page, or something.
Fascinating MarkRae-
I have been to the US on more than one occasion to celebrate the Curwood festival in Michigan, i had that same resonance feeling from the locals of Owosso.
