how do you delete a Facebook friend?

On Facebook, if you've agreed to someone's request to be a friend, can you later delete them from your list of friends and, if so, how? Detailed instructions please

Go into your lit of friends and click on 'all connections' on the left side of the screen, when the list as come up, you will see a small cross at the end of each persons name next to 'add to list', click it and the friend will be deleted. :-)

An easier way is to go onto their profile page, scroll down to underneath their list of friends (on the left hand column) and it says (in blue) delete friend. Just click on this.
