Just been reading my local paper - a little girl lost her homemade dinosaur whilst shopping with her Mum before Christmas in the town centre - the little girl was heartbroken - her Mum had made the soft toy out of stripey socks, buttons for eyes etc etc. The Mum phoned all the big stores she had been shopping in, but nobody had found it.

Last week her grandmother was shopping in TK Maxx and low and behold there was the homemade toy on the shelf with a £3.99 label attached to it. The little girl has reunited with the toy and a spokesman for TK Maxx said they are taking this very seriously.

As they say 'you could'nt make it up'.

I bet someone at TK Maxx is going to get the sack - some poor Saturday girl no doubt. !!!!

To be honest this story has made me think back to a couple of years ago, when my son bought a ski hat from TK Maxx at the same Romford store - when he brought it home, it had no tag on it and looked like it had been worn. It looked well manky and smelt of dirty hair.

I returned it to the store for him and got a refund with the till receipt.
