Why hasn't anything been heard of young Matthew Jackson, the soldier that went missing while on holiday in Tenerife?

Last report I can find is dated 24th December 2009, when he was first reported missing.

heres a later report, still missing tho

seems odd that no trace was found, no sign of his flipflops or clothing, if he ended up in the sea im sure somthing would have turned up.

Dave.
rather depends

The bodies of people lost off of the british coast have turned up weeks later in the channel islands.

I'd imagine that Teneriefe might be as bad or worse

But maybe he just legged it - people said he was looking forward to Afghanistan but people lie - He wouldn't be the first and I doubt he'd be the last
