Saw the film last night,thought it was pretty cool,and it ended with him basically dying in the womb,never to be born.Just heard today that there's an alternate ending version.Can anyone enlighten me at all..?

that, ladies & gentlemen is what's known as a "spoiler" for obvious reasons...

Don't read this if you don't wanna know but he goes back to the childrens party and tells the girl (his childhood girlfriend) that he never wants to see her again.  She then does not want to stay in the local area and both her and her brother go to live with their mum.

Then when they are older he sees her in the street and they meet again.

never mind karabalut, maybe yours was the alternate ending?! (The trick BTW with questions like these is to just put something like "Don't read this if you haven't seen the film" as your question & then put what happens as the first answer.)

The ending i saw was the same as willows except that they dont meet up again, they pass in the street and thats it
