blopckbuster charged ne as they didnt accept my cancellation

I signed up for a free trial at blockbuster video online dvd rental service and cancelled within the 2 1 month trial as moved flat- the systrem said it had been done.
i have noew logged onto the internet to find ive been charged and my account is still active.
the girl on the customer services no said they wont refund the money taken out and that my account hasn=t been cancelled.

Is there anything i can do to get my money back?
i feel thoroughly cheated. the girl was really obnoxious and when i asked to speak to her manager she gave me an email address ands said they will tell me the same thing.

help me please x

What system said it had been done?
Did you pay by direct debit or credit card?

i paid by debit card.
to cancel you have to go into "my account" and click cancel, then itasks are you sure? clicked yes.
then it said thank you for your cancellation please ensure all disks are posted back to etc etc.
i cancelled within the required time and sent all of the disks back.
they claim there is no record of this
It's a pity you didn't print off a copy of the cancellatoion confirmation.
Did they receive the discs you sent back?

yeah they recieved them all, i even called customer service at the time to confirm, but they say that they have no record of the call either
