Balamory is indeed Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.  I have a client who lives in Spencer the painters house. How cool is that?

Tobermory has become a tourist mecca for those with children under 5 because of the show.  Beautiful part of the world.

There was a story recently about the guy who owns one of the houses (Josies I think).   Apparently he started telling the families who stopped by that Josie was buried under the patio. Bad man!  Didn't go down to well with the kiddies, so the programmes producers now film Josies house elsewhere in the town...in another yellow house!

and did you all see in the paper yesterday that thay are stopping the show this is the last series which is confusing as its probably one of the most popular kids shows on at the moment.god what will my little boy do now.

only problem now is parents are taking thier kids to see this place and the kids are getting bored and trashing it by littering and generally being annoying brats.
