Noel keeps saying that no one knows when there turn is coming .Yesterday Walter was finally picked he has been there for a few weeks but what I could not understand as soon as Walter was walking to the table some of the items they bring were already there on the table and he has not worn his full kilt dress and medals for awhile. I cannot see the contestants family or friends turning up every show especially if they have quite a way to come and some of the contestants can be there a few weeks. I do love the show and shout at people when they get greedy and not take the offer nearer the end as they mostly lose out in the end.

A friend's stepson appeared on Deal or No Deal last year and he said that they are told what date their programme will air on TV. They just worked it out between themselves who would follow who!

After their name is called out they are taken off to be "miked up" but that isn't shown. so thats when things are put on the table and wheelchair ramps are set up, if needed. Sometimes contestants say that their family have been there and gone home or are arriving tomorrow and actually miss it. Also, they film 3 shows a day so 21 shows is only a week of filming.

they are also given a set of days ie mon tues or weds when they will appear so can tell relatives and so on

I know what you mean Weecalf, such a lot of time wasted with all the dressing up and all the chat , just open the bl00dy boxes that's what people watch the show for!
