Why on the directors cut have they changed the opening music fron the excellant Echo and the Bunney Men to INXS I need answers, totally ruinned the start of an excellant film

Evidentally Never Tear Us Apart by INXS was originally choreographed to open the film but had to be dropped in the theatrical cut for financial reasons. Richard Kelly likes the music to be appropriate to the plot & The Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunnymen was always intended to be later on at the party, the night of the killing. Still an excellent movie though.

Totally agree, have now watched all the extra's and realised I should have done so first before posting my question. Still prefer Killing Moon though.
