I didn't watch this when it first came out but I found it on Virgin TV on Demand and decided to watch it. The problem is that they have only put 7 episodes on and missed off the 3 at the end. I'm quite miffed at this as I was completely engrossed and want to watch the last 3.

I don't understand why Virgin do this. It has happened before where I have become engrossed in a series only to find out that some episodes are missing. I feel a complaint is about to be written!

This seems like a bargain to me:

Complain to Virgin by all means. I'd be interested in their reasoning
BBC2 are currently showing Band of Brothers at 11.20 pm on mondays and tuesdays. Episode 3 is tomorrow. Keep an eye on the schedules and you will catch the last three.

I've just emailed them a complaint and asked why they have also duplicated episodes 6 and 7. Its all rather bizarre.

I did check Play out earlier but this is the type of programme I can only watch once. I bought Schindlers List on video many years ago but I couldn't watch it twice as I found it too emotional the first time.

I'll V+ it Pauln. Thanks x
I thought this series exceptionally over-rated. I'd never watch it again.
I've never watched it.

Its quite good Ethel. Well its got me gripped anyway. The last one I saw was set in Eindhoven in January 1944. It is based on real soldiers but it is reported that there were many factual errors.

Very good series and you actually get to see the surviving soldiers from the unit.

It was very realistic , filmed similar to private ryan , the colour more like colour film of the time than todays clean crisp look.

Fantastic and well worth buying in my opinion.

Sorry I meant January 1945 not 44.
I've found that Virgin on Demand tend to that a lot - not show the last episodes of a series. I've emailed them a few times to complain about this and they always say it's not them it's the chanel concerned that decides what to broadcast. Seems like a cop out to me, I tend to record what I want to watch rather than rely on them. The last time I spoke to them I said I was thinking of going over to Sky, the reply was "please yourself" I might just do that!
