can anyone remember the name of an 80's/possible early90's t.v program with a young girl in it with a jeweled head band? she used it for many unspeciffied magical things, one i remember is.. she used it to cure her arch enemy's brain tumour when she was captured. its obscure i know but any help would be great.

In the early 90's there was an australian programme called 'the girl from tomorrow'.She was called alanna or something like that and she had accidently travelled back in time to present day australia, with a jewelled head band. Could this be it?
