Can you help me identify this kids program?

Ok this is quite vague...It was a kids program I think on bbc set in new zealand, there were a group of kids who rode around on bmx's and found some emeralds that they discovered were stolen and they belonged to some criminals who came after the kids. It would have been late 80s early 90s.


Please can someone shed some light this is really bugging me now!!
