Imagining your head on a stick suggests a feeling of having been defeated or dominated.

It sounds as though seeing a pretty girl makes you feel inferior.

Maybe you need to be more confident in yourself.

Imagine yourself having a happy, animated conversation with the girl.

When I see a pretty girl, I imagine her giving me a bit of hot girl-on-girl action.
