It would seem that if one does not care for the "God Football" then tough.

When will these Bl**dy European Cup matches finish?

It should be illegal to play football out of season.

Yes, how dare they interfere with the weakest link, goldenballs and two hours of soaps, the bill and other life shaping experiences.
AOG Now now, don't blow a Gasket. Remember some people liked 'The Apprentice''.
"Out of season"? Ban it completely!

I can't understand why (allegedly) heterosexual men would want to watch a bunch of other guys run around dressed in shorts for a couple of hours.

Plus there's all the violence that goes hand-in-hand with it. (Maybe it's because the guys watching feel the need to reassert their masculinity).
I'm not a guy and i like to watch it..........personal taste?? You heard of it LeMarchand?
The final is on Sunday 29th June.

The tournament is called the European Championships or Euro2008. The term European Cup usually refers to the club (rather than national team) competition which Manchester United won last month.

In the middle of July, the pre-season friendlies begin and are televised, So you have got a football free fortnight at the beginning of July.
@ squirtle: I can understand why ladies would want to watch a load of athletic guys running around...
.........oh.........yes...........

if you attended Mr Gromit's classes, I am sure he would have only been to pleased to correct you on the fact that those bunch of guys you refer to, only run around for 1hour & 30 minutes, not 2 hours.

Apart from that, I totally agree with the rest of your post.
