I seem to remember hearing either Warwick Avenue or Mercy by Duffy playing in the background at the Rovers but can't remember if this was when Steve was getting arrested.

The song was ONE DAY LIKE THIS by ELBOW from the album SELDOM SEEN KID although it was barely audible on corrie. It was also played after the FA Cup Final on BBC and snippets of it appear now and again on Euro 2008. Sorry for the delay in replying.
