No I think istrum means the classic piece that is almost always used in old music halls and silent films (played on cinema piano), when the phantom is creeping up behind an innocent victim. I know the tune but I don't know it's title.

You got it Mortartube! This tune has been plagueing me for many years. We all have heard it but I was wondering if it was part of a longer piece. It certianly is one of the original scary renditions. I remember it playing in early cartoons when the villian appears on the scene.
