Does anyone else hate the Foo Fighters?

I know they're really popular but I just absolutely cannot stand their music! It all sounds the same and it's so droney and horrible and just BAD!

They are just going on about it all day on radio1 as if they're the only band in the world!

It makes me laugh that tickets for the shows are selling cheap on ebay now!

Anyone else feel the same?

I had not heard of them, and then China Doll posted a link for me as she is getting tickets to see them.
I must say that I was not impressed. Loud and not much melody, and the quality of the singers voice wouldn't get past Simon Cowell on the auditions for Britains Got Talent.
But they're probably good to their mothers. Nice lads.

Well I like them. And the thought of Dave Grohl auditioning for Simon Cowell is hilarious.

I bought their first album in about 1995 and it was okay, all very samey to me and rather bland.

Radio 1 have been saying 'for the first gig at the new wembley, only one band was big enough - the foo fighters'
i hardly think they're the biggest band in the world!
Err Led Zeppelin? Queen? etc etc

The way radio 1 just suck up to them ALL the time and play their music ALL the time when it's not even in the charts just makes me sick!

I like loads of different stuff, (indie / funky house / pop / 60s and 70s etc), I'm not a massive rock fan I'll admit but I often quite like just certain songs from an artist, but with the Foo Fighters I just cannot stand any of it, it all sounds the same and it's awful!

Maybe it's because they're on all the time and I think it's disgustingly biased towards them for a public radio station, but I genuinely just cannot see how anyone can like their music!

I like a bit of classic rock, zeppelin, ac/dc, sabbath, whitesnake, aerosmith, KISS etc

queen are 20 years past their best and should not have continued with the legend that was Freddie.

Nah - I don't hate them. Saw them live just before xmas - pretty damn good if you ask me !!

Guy I work with loves them and has just gone to see them perform. I liked their video 'Learn to fly' only because it was funny, other than that I didn't really like the song and the rest of their music is naff, all alike and just angry music or something, I don't really know how to describe it.
Oh yeah and Radio 1 sucks big time!! the presenters all sound as thick as mud and the music they play are sung by common 1 hit wonders who can't sing for squat!
