Well.....what a week! To everyone who kindly responded to my question about help with vets bill after my dog was hit, I thought you might like to know what happened......Harvey finally had his op on Wednesday after being referred and transfered to an orthopedic specialist, Michael Hamilton. The break was not quite in the ball socket so was easier to repair than first thought, and the other breaks were plated successfully. Harvey is now home and much happier, he looks like a plucked chicken but that will grow back soon enough. There is no reason why he shouldnt make a complete recovery and be as he was. The stitches will be out in 2 weeks and xrays again in 6. The final bill was just short of 3000! Thankyou all again for your kind wishes x.....and to Bamps....it was worth every single penny :)
