So there is talk of reviving Minder by Channel 5 with the lead being Shane Ritchie. I cannot imagine Shane Ritchie in the part and would think someone similar but different would be a lot better. How about luring Ronnie Barker out of retirement? Now that would be fine.

If this is true, I won't watch it. Incidentally, for those who don't know the other classic of the seventies, the sweeney, is being remade, with Ray Winstone as Regan.

But I am a huge fan of Ray Winstone, so I would probably watch that.
