EastEnders Dot boycott

Anyone want to join my boycott of EastEnders tonight? A full episode of Dot Cotton (easily the worst character and played by the worst actress in soap) is the most depressing prospect in the world.

I'd even rather watch a repeat of Hazel and Co line dancing in the market!

She is a fine actress.

Here is a picture of her (and some text about her) from 1958. She was considered a very atttractive woman in those days.

She played in Chekov and played Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, which she could hardly do if she was a bad actress.

She seems a doddery old woman who is a bad actress but in fact is "acting" a doddery old woman, and so must be a good actress if she convinces you she is old and doddery (if you can follow that).

IT IS the storyline re Dot & Jim. Dot`s in a quandry as to whether she could manage having Jim home. She loves him & feels he should be home where he belongs, but deep down knows she`d not cope.
