no she isnt, she just smells like she is !!!!!
Poor Jack. Theres others i would of liked to have seen gone before Vera.
Sad though, isn't it?
Question Author
Yes, David Prat for one of them
sad to to see Vera go end of an era but was'nt
Jack very composed on finding her dead.
Everthing seemed to be solved by putting the
kettle on
thought she was going out with a "bang" ...more like a fizzle ..
I thought they did a very good job of it - Vera dressed in her best, a nice happy day, and no pain.

Liz Dawn wanted to leave Coronation Street because of her poor health. I'm glad she's gone this way rather than her character be murdered or killed in some awful way.
Still not a patch on Hilda or Ivy.
I agree with Ethel
It was good to see someone go so peacefully & tastefully without all the dramatics
Mary T, you could have put it as End Of A Vera
Oh perleeeese!!!!!! Now come on you people, it`s not real you know. The whole programmes gone on long enough. Time also for Eastenders to lay down and die, its such a miserable programme.
liz dawn has emphasaema (guessed the spelling) and that is vet dabilitatingm it was emotional and vet true to life, wish my mum had been lucky enough to go like that, my dad was.
my 'r' won't work popely
I was wondering where the church bells were coming from !!
I agree with Ethel, it was well done I thought.

I was wondering the same Jillius...I can't remember ever hearing them before.
I cried my eyes out, I had no idea this was her final episode, and when I realised she was 'gone', the floodgates just went I'm afraid!
and i thought the acting of jack at the end was brilliaint, i imagine that as they have been together so long as jack and vera that the tears were for real.
Have to admit to having a soggy tissue, but thought Jack wouldn't have known she was actually dead from across the room, and even if he thought she was surely he would have tried to revive her, even if only by shaking her to try to get her to wake up.
He did shake her - and call her, That's when he realised she was dead.

Jack done good.
Yes but when he was talking to her he looked over and then said oh no, don't do this to me or something like that and went over to her. If he didn't think she was dead why did he say oh no? He then just felt her hand and then started talking to her but made no attempt to revive her. I think that would have been a natural reaction from most people, after all even a doctor or paramedic would check all her systems. Unless of course he didn't want to revive her..........
