I remember watching South Park years ago and a version of Ave Maria was sung by a male voice. I have no idea which episode or any other details. Does anyone have any idea who was singing it?

from wiki ..... A version of "Ave Maria" by Aaron Neville is introduced in a South Park episode. It is played after townspeople emerged from a snowed in studio where they took refuge during a blizzard (Season 2 Episode 2). This is supposed to be a parody of the survival movie Alive with similar ending while Ave Maria is being played.
