I love his grumpiness. He speaks to everyone the same and takes no Sh*t from anyone. I also like the fact he has conned the receptionist into taking a phlebotomy course. Priceless

I think it's excellent..well cast and beautiful scenery. It makes me laugh becuase my husband is just the same as the doc.....unfortunately he doesn't make as much money

I have to admit I LOVE it if not for the BEAUTIFUL Cornish scenery + settings then the comic acting of Martin Clunes - superb!
As another Answerbank subscriber wrote - I absolutely agree it's a light, highly watchable and amusing drama/comedy that not too heavy . I curl up watching it on my own with a glass of wine while my partner is out at playing darts! LOVE it!
