Sylvester Stallone watched a fight between an unknown fighter called Chuck Wepner and Mohammed Ali. It lasted 15 rounds. Stallone was so inspired he wrote the script of Rocky in three days. It was made for a pittance and it went on to become the sleeper hit of 1976, winning two Oscars.
