A new channel 4 show will see 10 contestants spend a month living off rubbish at a tip. It aims to highlight how much we waste. There is no contest and it will not be shown live. What do you think, is C4 just hitting another low or could this be an interesting way to encourage recycling and less waste?

I think its a great idea to show how much we waste today.
C4 can show what they like. I rarely watch it anyway. If I want to see how much I waste Ill look in my wheelie bin much more entertaining for me (and the neighbours) than anything C4 churn out on the cheap.
It's just a documentary about how much people throw away. Your attempt to whip up some moronic uninformed hysteria about it, is utterly contemptible.
I'm all for recycling. Over here, when we throw out furniture , clothes, anything, we arrange it on the rubbish tip, and other people take what they want. I have picked up at least 2 decent vacumn cleaners that way, and certain clothes, which look decent and washable. Most of us do this over here.
