Yes, I do! He's a family man with four kids and no matter what your politics or opinions, doing an extremely stressful job.

Well i'm sorry for rattling your cage! i kow he has astressfull job thats not what i'm saying couldn't they have left it for the main news headlines? instead of scaring us to death!!
It was a bit "the queen is dead" i agree.....
Lots of people have stressful lives - with or without jobs or families. For his families sake, I hope he is ok. At least he won't have to join a long NHS queue for treatment.
I agree, don't like him politically but don't general wish harm on anybody, but He's not dead, wasnt close to death so lets just wait for the news.
You'll just have to accept it. "Prime Minister taken to hospital" = NEWS! "Bloke no-one has heard of taken to hospital" = NOT NEWS! Why did you think it was the Pope? Why should the Pope be news in a predominantly non-Christian country?
quite. I dont give much of a fig for his holiness the witch doctor of rome, nor all this irrelevant twaddle about the shaman of canterbury arguing over gay priests. the pm having palpitations is news, but should have been left for the headlines. special announcements should be reserved for important things like him growing a conscience.
When the ITV special bulletin flashed up on the screen my mum said "i bet the pope had died".I could see where she was coming from considering he had been in the news due to ill health. Not everyone is a fan of the Royals but no doubt when 1 of them dies it get coverage so i don't see why the Pope should be treated any different.
Since when did the UK become a predominantly non-Christian country? I think you'll find that it still is and has been for the last few hundered years a christian country and while the majority may not care I am sure you'll find that the catholic community would be most distressed to hear of any bad news regardnig the leader of the worlds largest church.
sft- the last time actual practicing (church attending) christians were in the majority was before the first world war. Most of britain is efffectively agnostic.
I have to say I was more upset when Hector died than being told that TB had a flaky episode. Bet he didn't go NHS
