Just tuned in and noticed Lloyd is back...where did he materialise from, and with what excuse? I know Craig Charles was supended, but how did they explain his sudden return?

I could be wrong but I think what you saw tonight was his first appearence since. Technically, he's never really been anywhere, just not on screen, so I don't think they need to explain him being back.
