I used to have a small black-fury duck like toy called Tivvy. I think ITV (or Thames Televison) used it to promote the change from black and white to colour TV in the late '60's. I think I even had a Tivvy annual. But no-one I talk to about it remembers Tivvy at all - am I going senile?

The Tivvy Club was in TV Times every week and I think Jimmy Hanley had something to do with it. Tivvy was well before the change to colour though. I had a Tivvy moneybox many years ago. Very popular character at the time - nothing to do with Tiverton football club, which seems to be all Google can offer...
