I'm doing Media Studies research on to what extent does children's television and children's magazines educate children. Does anyone have any opinions of information on this?

I think that on the whole these programmes and magazines do educate the child but they make it fun so that the child does not realise that they are actually learning. They are more likely to do an activity in a magazine because 'Bob the builder' wants them to do rather than having an adult asking them to do the same activity.
