I am ashamed to say that I think I must be one of the very few people who hasn't seen a single episode of Lost.

Can someone tell me what it's about please?

Don`t be ashamed,be proud!I haven`t seen it either.
count yourself lucky that you've not been drawn into it, I wish I hadn't started watching it but now I NEED to find out what happens!!!

I couldn't possibly go into detail as to what it's about as it'd take too long but basically a plane crashed on an island, survivors encountered several strange things one being a polar bear!! Another group of people called 'the others' are also on the island, they're bad people (or are they?!?!) miracles also happen on the island, a paralysed guy can now walk, a woman with terminal cancer is apparently now healthy!! It's all very strange and it just goes on and on with no answers in sight!!

I won't even go into 'the hatch' and 'the button' either get the DVDs and try and figure it out or read all the episode guides online!! My advice though, if you can, keep away from it, yes it's good for debating all theories and things but the programme seriously messes with your head!!
I watched six episodes, then gave up because they seemed to be making it up as they went along. Utter tripe.
All my mates watch it but I saw the very start and couldn't get into it. I don't like the whole jungle thing.
Go to HMV buy the box sets take a week off work watch them all prepare to never feel the same way about any TV show ever again. It's absolutely fantastic...
I'm with you there bejewelled!! Was watching 4 episodes this afternoon, from the 1st series.Am really looking forward to the 3rd series, starting next week on RTE,a few weeks ahead of SKY.The best tv series ever!..
It's " The Prisoner" of our time ie a programme which revels in staying one step away from explanation.
