There is a classical piece of music played in the island movie,mainly violins,instrumental,early in the movie,its not on the soundtrack cd...anyone know what its called please.

So what's the island movie then? If it's about a desert island, and the music is how you describe, then maybe it's the Robinson Crusoe Suite or theme.

Its called ..THE ISLAND..2005 starring Ewan McGregor.
None the wiser really. However, I found this link online where you can listen to my suggestion, which I am only suggesting because the film is called the island, robinson crusoe was about an island, it sounds cheesy classical (tho I like it) and it has violins, so who knows.
