Was this film really a flop? I looked on IMDB but I didn't really understand the box office and business stuff.

I thouht it was great. Never mind what some suit in L.A says i still think the film rocks!

It's not surprising it is called a "flop" , when it cost around $250 MILLION to make and has yet to gross that yet . That's the way they look at it . But it will probably still break even with all the dvd / games rights etc etc .to come yet, like a few other "blockbusters".

we thought it cud of been better than what it was. but arnt all films that follow on from the first normally not as good as the first one its the law isn't it xx

This film is the best thing ive seen ever. Its got all the angst of both Spiderman movies and the maturity of more complex films out there.
