Second Coming

Anyone see ITV's second coming on sun/mon. I thought it was excellent and had the rare ability to keep oyu thinking about it after it had finished. only criticism would have to be with the demon eye thing a bit over-played after initial shock. Anyone else have a view?

IMO The first episode was brilliant. All that potential, heck of a concept; then they wasted it by turning the plot into a paperchase for a 3rd testament. Well what a preposterous yawn the second half was.

In my experience the second part of two-parters is ALWAYS disapointing. They never manage to live up the promise of the first part. But overall I still thought it was a good programme and, as an atheist, I especially liked the ending. :o)

Yeah I was glad the ending was contentious and a bit unexpected. It was certainly better than the rubbish I pay my tv licence for on BBC1...Now THERES a contentious issue.
