Erm, I didn't mind it, though I think they ruined the integrity of the concrete box by cutting those windows in it, and it was a shame they couldn't expose some of the concrete to the rooms. And the extension would have been nicer in a shiny material or fully glazed.....okay, second thoughts, sounds like I would have done it totally different, eh?
reminded me of a power station and whats with the obssesion with all the glass and steel that all these people have on grand designs

Absolutely awful from the outside! We decided it looked like a pile of Portacabins!!


The concrete the box was made of was so beautiful, why didn't they have it polished down and left exposed internally?


Still, their choice though!

Yeah...the additions didn't seem to make sense to me. I think it was the zinc covering that spoiled it. I wonder what it would've looked like with hardwood cladding.


Thought the inside looked great, but the glass stairwell will be like an oven during the summer and an icebox during the winter.
