andy...lol. Totally agree. Louis Cypher was just brilliant...completely evil and chilling. Can't watch an egg being peeled of it's shell without instantly being reminded of him.

liz hurley in the remake of bedazzled looked great, but i guess thats not what you were asking. the funniest devil has to be peter cook in the original.

Michael Kitchen in the original tv version of Brimstone and Treacle was pretty creepy (unlike Sting in the film).
What about Tim Curry in Legend? That was more to do with the make up though.

Hi pixi...no probs, good question. Angel Heart is good, worth watching for De Niro and I quite enjoyed the storyline too.

..Jamey Sheridan as the devil/randal flagg/the walking dude/the darkman..in the tv mini series of Steven King's The Stand...crappy adaptation of the book (but most of them are)...but Sheridan was superbly scary....
