No, I picked him as the winner from the first time he showed up - just the sort of person the Beeb would go for - same as last years winner.
How many times does he have to muck things up and get away with it?? I hope Im wrong.
Without a shadow of a doubt the woman should win - never done anything wrong.yet!!
i'd go with dean, probably only as he is the youngest, think the other 2 might not enjoy being bossed around so much, and so possibly has more potential, tho the lady seems like she is the best cook. but u have to look at it as if dean is nearly as good as the other 2 now, how good could he be when he is their age?
I think Dean should win as he has the most potential and he has said that he wants a career as a chef rather than wanting to run a restaurant. He is also at the start of his career rather than nearing the end. Come on Dean!!!
Theyre all cooking stuff that theyve never cooked before - the woman (sorry, cant remember her name) has adapted the best and risen to every challenge and hasnt mucked up! Isnt that what its all about?
No doubt theyll cite his age when they hand over the trophy but if they want potential why not cap the entry age?
dhaksha (sp.) is it? she seems to get into a bit of a flap quite a lot when shes in the kitchens tho :o/
Go, Deano. For me, he's the only one with real flair, the others are just damn fine cooks.
Flair? He can read a cook book and do what hes told - whenever hes been given a mystery bag of ingredients and been told to be creative hes mucked it up!!

As for Daksha, yep, seen her flapping a couple of times - once when golden boy took longer than his allocated 20 minutes to get his dish out, thus breaking the rules with no penalty and delaying everyone else - and once when the other fella was in the other room chatting!!

Anyhow, as I said, I think its a foregone conclusion that pretty boy Dean will win - even though he shouldnt! Hope Im wrong!!
It's obviously between Dean and Daksha now. If the contest ended right now, Daksha would deinitely win, but with three days left, Dean could yet make up the difference. Dean's cool.
wasn't the old chap peter than held everyone up? when she cooked the duck?
Sorry, I appear to be ranting!!

It was peter who's let her down twice.

I think Dean should win, as not only is he a really good cook, but he's the most eager to learn new skills and get it right. Daksha would have to come a dissapointing second. it's a shame they both can't win, but i think her flapping in the kitchen will give them a legitimate (and valid) reason for crowning Dean the winer (they couldn't just do it on age - which is what everyone is thinking - as that would be unfair)

The prize is a job in a top london restaurant, I think only Dean would really make a go of that. Really enjoying the series tho.

thanks for your answers.
either of the blokes and not Dakshaa
have to say its been a rather annoyingly structured series, never really knew what round they were in
Dean must win. I don't think it's fair that Daksha has a second chance after missing out on last year's contest.
Dean to win - I like the fact that he's a digger driver!!!
