Eighty Years Ago Thousands Of Brave Men...

Hi, I've not had much luck with cars recently. My little fiesta was reversed into and got written off as 'Cat. C' then I got a new car and crashed on the way back home with it. (thats a Cat. B, unfortunately) Anyway, enough story.
I want to get a VIC on the fiesta so i can put her back on the road. There was only minor damage to the front end, so the repair is easy. I need to check a couple of things...
1) Can I Re-insure the Fiesta and drive the the VIC centre myself, or will it need towing?
2) Will it need another MOT as It still has ~ 10 months left and the damage was obviously not extensive and couldn't have affected the cars roadworthiness. ( dented bonnet and misaligned headlamp - now fixed)
If anyone knows I'd be grateful for advice.
