Good morning MM hope life's treating you well. Yesterday evening I went to lie down under my duvet to warm up a bit for ten minutes or so ... tada next minute its just gone past 3 am. Luckily very few plans for today, and I don't have to be anywhere.

Went to a lovely Portuguese-Indian restaurant last night in Harborne. Lovely meal, but I don't anticipate eating much today.

Still very cold in Glasgow. But the central heating is doing its job so I'm warm as toast, just wishing that my beautiful R♥ was here with me. She's back in Wales looking after her mum...

Indeed. I totally sympathise with those who are unable to keep themselves warm or feed their children - I'm incredibly lucky...

Luso-Indian fusion, Minty. It was lovely food. I would go again. It was reasonably priced too for Harborne. No cost of living crisis there It would seem!

Rowan will probably be familiar with the area but certain restaurants we passed last night were packed out.

Ah, central heating. Something we never had in Spain. Say what you want about the UK but we have much more comfortable living standards here.

people always think of Spain as a warm place..but have had some blummin' cold ones there too ! and we actually had a log burner in our villa on the Algarve !!

Not so in the winter, Minty. Older builds just have an old-fashioned fireplace in the sitting room area. Winters were miserable there.

One of the best holidays I've being on was in the algarve Portugal... the fish literally leapt onto my plate they were that fresh... They were cooked for me but can't imagine the Indian combo.

I used to buy fish from the boats on the beach when they came in Arky !!
