And do you think it's worth it?

Finally, any good recommendations on what to watch.

Thanks, as always.

I don’t know how much it is but it’s not expensive - and yes, it is worth it.

You might be better off asking about programmes once you’ve got it, but for starters I enjoyed Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The Queen’s Gambit.
Google says it’s £10.99 a month.
The basic package is £6.99 per month and is worth every penny. As for recommendations, it would help if we knew what sort of programmes interest you and your family.
The last two films I watched on it are Hobson's Choice. It's a b+w offering from the 1950s , and The whole nine yards. It wasn't made yesterday, either.
The Crown is also on Netflix if you’re interested in that sort of thing. And Stranger Things, which I loved.
The Basic with ads package is £4.99 a month...introduced recently.

Good lord, I didn't realise it was that cheap. The only reason I haven't already purchased is that I seldom find time to sit down and watch anything (I'll make an exception for The Handmaid's tale though).

Preferences are more less those you mentioned, Naomi.
I've just looked at the Netflix website - £7 to £16 per month.

From 3rd November you can opt for ads for £5 a month
^ should have said...announced recently, launching early november.

Well it's cheap enough to have whether I watch it or not. I'm sure OH would probably find something he likes, even when I'm working in the evening.

I've been wanting to watch Better Call Saul for ages. I've seen most of Breaking Bad. My mother is presently hooked on Peaky Blinders but I've never watched it.
Loved the first few series of Peaky Blinders but the last two didn't excite me at all. Well worth a look
I liked Peaky Blinders very much - but it took me a couple of episodes to get into it.
Blinders might be free on iplayer, the Beeb has loaded lots of series recently to celebrate their 100th anniversary

Thanks Barry. I will give it a try and see if the hype is worth it.
I've just checked and every episode of Peaky Blinders is on iPlayer
i dont pay, my daughter gave me her code.. ermm dahmer series was interesting, i liked lock-n-key silly but whatever, i have disney+ again daughter code, if y like star bored its for you, some good documentaries though...not enough oldie films on any of them for me
old b/w i like, had good stories and actors.
I don't pay for it, code share with a relative, same as Disney +, from the little I've seen of both I wouldn't pay for them, though I did enjoy Bridgerton!!!
zebo, i agree not worth it, i find a lot of new stuff is to woke, maybeim just old, had a real hoot watchin peter sellers in im alright jack film
total class, and so funny and still relivant today, todays generation have no idea, thye think older folks have no sense of humour.
funny i knew a fellow who was like fred kite i the film, became a vicar..honestly, traveled a hundred mile or more to listen to his sermon best money i ever spent on petrol, i laughed my head off, all the way to the pub..ie booked a night in a bb..worht every sixpence.
Looking back, most of the films I've watched have been oldies. I have struggled to find something decent to watch. But it is not Netflixs fault, I am just fussy.
