Overblown, overpraised, overlong. So over

Each to his own, gg.
“ Overblown, overpraised, overlong. So over”

There speaks one who presumably watched the lot :-)

I didn’t know there was to be a film. There was always supposed to be 7 series with WWII sirens going over Birmingham at the bed.
I wondered if series 6 was a big wind up. Like Arthur’s death earlier on a grander scale.
At the “end”
Loved it, loved it, loved it!
Me too Tills. Sorry it's finished.
Cillian Murphy has become even more beautiful over the last nine years.
Swoon...
Yes he did. I must admit I'd never heard of him before Peaky Blinders.
LB, have a look at the images from Breakfast on Pluto.
He looks very different. :-)
having to turn the volume down every time there was loud music became a little tedious . . .
I've not long been watching it but I'm loving it, I'm on Series 4 (I think) at the moment.

I have to have sub-titles on because I can't understand what they're saying so the volume doesn't need to be up high, hence curing the problem of loud music.
Sub-titles a necessity, with Cillian Murphy whispering and grunting his way through 36 episodes. I hadn't realised Paul Anderson was a Londoner. It's amazing to me how actors master regional accents like that.

Probably not a good place to come if you're not up to date (!) Threre are potential spoilers all over the place.
So I best not say what my favourite moment was in the last episode, other than it involved Arthur, a gun (naturally), poison gas and a loud bang.

As good an actor as Cillian Murphy is, Tom Hardy stole every scene they were in together. There was a touch of the Fagin about him at times.
As an aside, i loved the occasional flashback scenes in which Aunt Polly appeared.
Tom Hardy certainly had the best lines!

Apart from possibly Arthur in the scene I mentioned …
It gets 5* from me. Sunday evenings won't be the same without it. Arthur was outstanding.

Tills I've just had a look and he's so young but already beautiful. Do you recommend watching Breakfast on Pluto?
Oh Yes Tom Hardy. When he's on the screen I don't see anything but him.
And he adores animals and especially dogs. Perfect!
Question Author
Ich, i can't recall what it was Arthur said, now (i will be watching it again so no spoilers) 'cos i was too busy watching his hair 'morphing' into various styles. Almost a different style for each bullet that left the barrel of his gun :-)
This series certainly wasn’t as outstanding at the previous but the finale lastnight certainly made up for it! As for Cilian Murphy - wow, just wow!!
LB, we haven't actually watched Breakfast on Pluto. It has some excellent actors in it and might be worth a watch.
I'm binge watching and up to series 3. Loving it.
