What a great series ,gritty and probably true to life, cliffhanger ending each episodes , Vicky McClure is brilliant as Bomb Disposal expert Lana Washington, hope there’ll be another series.

the jury is out on this one, i will watch the next episode on catch up but didn't find it all that good to be honest.
I’ve only watched the first two so far. Halfway through the second I decided it was incredibly boring, when was something going to happen. I will continue with next episode in case it gets better.
3 episodes in and i'm quite enjoying it. The 'plot' is beginning to thicken and now almost every cop on the unit is a suspect.
The fact that ISIS or some other Muslim terrorist organisation are not the culprits here. Now that would have been boring and oh so predictable.
I find it poor and plodding, and unless it's me the sound quality isn't good. Shame when you see who wrote it
The sound quality is appalling.
Gave up after 2 episodes. Really boring. Hubby tells me last night's was better, but i won't bother any more.
Who do you think wrote it netherfield?
There may be another series, provided they don't kill off Ms. Washington. I'll watch it to the end, then make up my mind.
I agree about the poor sound quality, but it's not unique to this programme or current new. This general downgrade started when boom operators were dispensed with at the studios. It's usually the director's fault as he/she is wearing a headset during shooting, the same as the recordist, so can hear the quality at source. After editing, the director sees/hears again what the quality is like, so any problems thereafter are down to them.
So often, when viewing new DVDs, I have to turn on the subtitles to make sense of the mumbling. My hearing is actually quite good.
I meant to say 'current new films'.
Ken4155. Badly stated by me, I should have said who was involved with the production, Jed Mercurio.
