morning all, another early start though i have got used to it. I hope that you are in good spirits and have a good day whatever you may have planned. Just woke from another dream, none of which i can remember, but it was vivid whilst i was asleep. I have nothing in the calendar for today but if it is as warm as yesterday then i am happy.

how did it go with the kitchen fitters?

They arrived on time, Emmie. So far so good. The fitter is here until Friday and the person who is doing the template for the quartz worktop will come on Friday and the Electrian will hopefully be here too. Then next Thursday / Friday they're coming back to fit the worktops and connect everything up. I can't wait for it to all be finished.

i am sure it will be lovely once done. I had my kitchen slightly remodelled a couple of years ago by the council as they were doing upgrades to the blocks, and i must say they made a first class job of it.
I only wish it were bigger, as i have quite a small kitchen so just two largish work tops.

I'm at home today. I'll drop the urchin off at Nursery and then come home to work. The fitter should be here 8-8:30.

I could do with going back to sleep to be honest... Zzzzz

i know the feeling about sleep, i find that if i come home early from shopping or a lunch out i fall right off to sleep which i don't like doing.
but these early mornings are i guess taking their toll.

looks like its going to be a really nice day weather wise. Long may it continue, though the forecast says otherwise.

It doesn't help with OH doing these 4am starts as I invariably wake up just after he's left, but I understand the rationale for him doing them. He'll be home just after 12pm and then he'll have the whole afternoon to do stuff.

Yes, I'd better get Miles creamed up before he goes to Nursery. They'll no doubt be playing in the garden at some point.
