Did anybody notice the faux pau by Daisy in the pub tonight when she was perched on the bar stool talking to Jenny ? She actually said 'I was ******* working' (begins with 'f') ! I was watching a recording so played it back and she definitely said it. Surprised it was left in ...

Can't open your links ellie, but I have read the article.
Sorry about the link, wouldn't work even when I did it again
Question Author
I've tried it too and can't get it to work - any experts out there .. ?
Do you remember the "blue or gold" dress thing a few years ago? When half the population saw blue and the other saw gold?

This is the same thing but with the ears. I have just played it and heard flipping.
If you copy & paste you can bring it up on Google
Question Author
Not the same thing at all Leon, she does not say 'flipping' !

Thanks barry.
I've just listened to Ellie's link and I clearly heard an L and a P. She said 'flipping'.
She says flipping. I have just recorded it through google word and it comes back as flipping.
Question Author
Not last night she didn't !
Just listened to it in the clip on the link and it is very clearly flippin' that she says.
Leon might have a point as if you heard different I can't possibly see how it sounds anything like the f word.

As pointed out earlier it would have been sorted in editing even if she had when said it when filming.
Question Author
Looks like a lot of other people thought so too. That's my last word on the matter now ....... except

she did NOT say 'flipping' lol.
I have listened to it a few times and can't decide as it's very muffled. Before that Jenny said flippin' when she was mopping so it seems to be a word that's used quite often. I assume she said flipping as otherwise it would have been corrected
Although Emily Bishop did say to Annie Walker in 1973 - "Oooooh I'll stick it up me bum. Lovely" When she should have said "Oooooh, a sticky bun. Lovely"
