i hope that you are in good health and spirits, and that your day is a good one.
i have given up on the notion of more sleep, so perhaps those of you who are awake early will keep me company,
i am off to a picnic later today, which could be interesting considering that it's supposed to rain. but it's local and i will have the trusty brolly just in case.
i have had a fairly stressful couple of weeks, and yesterday my washing machine decided to give up the ghost, and stopped working.
which is a pain as i have washing in it, so if anyone knows how to empty the water then you would have my eternal gratitude. I do have an engineer booked in tomorrow to fix it hopefully so that is one good thing.
Mornin' emmie. You don't often see me here at this time of the morning but haven't been able to sleep so thought I might as well get up.
Did you get your new furniture and old furniture sorted?
welcome to the thread, yes i did, the Bright Sparks charity collected all of my (6 months old) furniture, and i got my new stuff sorted, only the console table at 130 quid is a total disappointment, as its way too small for the living room. In fact its so badly made i am considering sending it back.
I have in the back of my mind that to drain the washing machine you have to get to the hose which is probably at the back of the machine , then empty the hose into bowls etc.
Don't know how you would pull the machine out though, it would be pretty heavy I expect.
think i will leave it to the engineer.... its got a blockage so i was told on the phone, going on the code that came up on the machine.
will get sorted tomorrow and then no more hassle, fingers crossed.
i have no plans for the rest of the week, are you doing anything...
Morning. Husband has been sick in the night. I seriously hope I'm not next - I hate being sick. Little one was sick a week ago and in-laws were sick just after.
My worries are health related so Monday I have blood tests, Wednesday I have a scan, and Friday the doctor will phone to let me know if he wants me to go into hospital.
Trying not to worry but when you're lying in bed you're thinking about all the different case scenarios and that is what's keeping me awake.
Daughter and 2 young granddaughters are coming round this afternoon so that will take my mind of it.
in some pain barsel i can't deny it, i have some ibuprofen, but need to get some more, this osteo arthritis is horrible. bending, kneeling just out the question. and walking yesterday my right knee was giving me lots of gyp.
