I read somewhere that no further series of Eggheads are to be made. Is that right?

I had pretty much given up on Eggheads. Chances are, if any of the Eggheads wasn't picked for a head-to-head, it could be quite common for that Egghead to go through an entire episode without answering a single question. Nice work if you can get it, no doubt!

I was on quite a few years ago with my brothers and sisters. I flunked it and we lost. Dermot Murnaghan was the quiz master. His wife and children were there behind the cameras and he had a TV set up alongside them so that he could watch the football

I also met Daphne Fowler at a Fifteen-to-One Grand Final: she got her first two questions wrong and had to sit down :)

Daphne was on better form in 15-to-1 Grand Finals when I came up against her. She won the two I was involved in and in one of those I was the runner-up.

Jeremy Vine ruined Eggheads. Constantly making stupid remarks and laughing at his own "jokes". Trying to make it the Jeremy Vine Show.
