With the way that 2020 has gone for most people, I think that posting 'Happy New Year' nearly three hours before that new year actually starts might be a tad optimistic! There's still plenty of time for the Earth to blow up, and kill us all, yet ;-)

It'll be fairly quiet and sober for me too, Khandro, as I've got to be up by 0730 at the latest tomorrow to prepare for a hospital appointment.

So I'll actually be celebrating the new year a week late this year (with a nice bottle of good quality champers) because my radiotherapy treatments come to an end next Thursday and I can hopefully look forward to a much more pleasant time from then on.

For tonight though, it'll probably just be a couple of small cans of Camden IPA around midnight for me :(
