We're trying to remember the name of a segmented kids TV program that used to be in one of the Saturday morning shows (Saturday Superstore?) during the late 80's. The only thing I can remember is that it had spaceships in it, and when on a mission they all came together to form a massive robot, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try this link: http://www.sfxb.co.uk/index.html. Is it the one you're thinking of.
It is 80s, not 80's. You have not used it in the possessive sense, so an apostrophe is not required.
I should add that program is American English; in the UK it refers only to computer software. TV shows are programmes. Let's do our bit to support our native tongue and stop abandoning our language to the Americans!
GoBots?
Do you know if the programme was called Star Fleet or not? What has grammar and spelling got to do with Saturday morning television?

Thankyou debx. It's been buggin' me for ages! Sorry Spellmaster, this is the first time I've asked anything and I didn't realize that analyzing and making fun of people was part of the ideology! I'm all embarrassed now!!

It amazes me that this is a website for people searching for knowledge, yet when something is provided that they can learn from they think this is terrible. Perhaps you'd be better off by learning so you can avoid future mistakes and embarrassment.
Didn't terrorhawks start as a segmented show?, before getting its own sunday afternoon slot, it would have been on ITV though.
